I’m Kamar Mosley — husband, father of two boys, and the eye behind Capturedby_Kam. Through my lens, I aim to create projects that push creative boundaries, sparks conversation, and always feel fresh and original.

My love for tech and gadgets started with my dad and never really stopped. I studied journalism at Eastern Michigan University, writing light, entertaining features and shooting photos for The Eastern Echo, before earning my business degree.

Eventually, I sold my Apple shares to invest in this brand and commit to the work I couldn’t put down — documenting people, stories, and moments with intention.

I approach every project with journalistic curiosity and a photographer’s eye: capturing genuine emotion, clean lines, and no gimmicks. My work is also heavily influenced by the bold, playful energy of 90s ad media — vibrant color, clever copy, and visuals that stick with you.
